Swan Lake Bride

Hello my little birdies! It’s been just about a year since my last blog post. whoops. What’s new since then? The girl who almost exclusively designed black dresses is working on a bridal collection. That’s right, my studio, previously nicknamed “The Black Hole” is filled to the brim with soft white tulle, white feathers, and white fabrics. My sister got married last fall and I designed and sewed her custom lace wedding gown. Since then, I’ve been blessed with numerous custom wedding gown requests from around the world. 

My bridal collection is inspired by the romantic Swan Lake ballet. Feather corsets, full tulle skirts, and dramatic feather capes. Here are a few peeks what what I’ve been working on…
